MADE IN AMERICA

October 7, 2013

Have you heard of The American Edit yet?

My good friend Rita is the genius behind this killer new site, featuring stylish, modern goods made right here in America. Frustrated by the lack of options for her home and her own wardrobe, she wanted to create a place to celebrate the designers and stores that manufacture here.

Even better, she left her corporate gig to pursue her dream - providing resources to companies that want to source in the U.S., but don't know where to start.

I love her mission and her beautiful site, I think you will too. I'm honored she asked me to pick my five favorite Made In America products for her regular series, The Edit. Head on over to see what I selected, and check out favorites from bloggers like With A CH, Anne Sage, Meg Biram, and Rebecca Atwood.

  3. Hello. Found your blog super duper helpful especially the two-week travel with only a carry on. Genius! I'll be visiting SFO mid-December of this year, would the helpful tidbits on this particular post be applicable for that time of the month? Any suggestions which you may have? Thanks!

  4. Thank you so much for posting this! I've been trying to buy as much of my clothing and other goods as possible from USA retailers. It's pretty challenging, although it has definitely gotten much easier over the past couple of years. The American Edit website has been a huge help in finding chic, "Made in USA" clothing, etc. Thank you!
