MOVE RIGHT IN | BROADVIEW LOFT

March 28, 2013

Can we all just stop and gaze at this sculpture above the dining table for a moment?

Go ahead, I'll wait.

I'm feeling particularly lusty over this Broadview Lofts residence, designed by Croma Design. If you've been around here long enough, you know I go a little nuts for clean spaces that have touches of warmth via wood or cozy fabrics.

  1. It's beautiful, but it doesn't look like anyone lives there! Is is a model perhaps? Love the clean lines very much.

  2. Love the crocheted throw...I might need one of those!

  3. A requirement for my first real house is a kitchen island you can eat at- just like the photo you showed!

  4. Hi Lori - I believe someone lives there, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the "staged" version for professional photographs, taken after the design is complete but before the owner moves in.

  5. I love the bed! The brown throw paired with the grey comforter looks so cozy.

  6. Me too! We're not really "dining table" people. Ours tends to go to waste, and we use the counter stools propped around our Ikea stainless island more than I would like to admit. Would be so nice to have a big space like that!

  7. I love that kitchen set-up! It's so light and open, where the cook wouldn't miss all the fun at their own dinner party ;)

  9. Drooling over the kitchen/dining area. Literally drooling! I dream of living in a sleek loft space!

  10. I'm quite the fan of having a pair of tables in front of a sofa!

  11. I am seriously loving a gray comforter. This one is gorgeous.

  12. I had changed our bedding to whites for spring, but I'm kind of craving the gray myself!

  13. I think neutrals are amazing (obviously) and the different textures are what keep it interesting!

  14. That's my chief complaint about the place we live now! San Francisco apartments tend to be very boxed off, and our kitchen is on the other side of the apartment from the living space. When people are over and I'm cooking, I get lonely!
